The picturesque area of Faralya is situated about 80kms form Dalaman airport, and some 20kms from fethiye town centre. This once sleepy village enjoys a stunning coastal outlook of shimmering sea, and some of the best views in South West Turkey. It is not a touristic area in the main and is more suited to people looking for a quieter pace of life and the best nature has to offer. It attracts many walkers and following "the lycian way" it can be reached on foot from Olu deniz in about 1 and a half hours. It has few shops and restaurants but this is increasing as it becomes more popuar with foreign investors.
