Bozbuk is a small town in between Bodrum and Altinkum. It is approximately 7 kilometeres from Akbuk, which is popular for its beautiful sunset.
There are two parts to Bozbuk, the town and the bay. The town of Bozbuk is unspoilt Turkey, with farming and manual work being the prominent factor in the township. The bay of Bozbuk starts just past Akbuk, with a series of fish farms. These have been earmarked to be relocated to an island just off Altinkum in preparartion for the rush of toursim which is about to hit Bozbuk.
There are other small bays, pontoons and jettys, which can be seen on the Bozbuk photos page. Also see the photo of the stone lodge being constructed, which when completed will offer fantastic sunset and tranquil atmosphere.
As with many other parts of the Agean coastline in Turkey, construction will continue to change the coastline, and Bozbuk with its West facing orientation and calm waters will be no exception.
This area boasts such phenomenal beauty with an unrivalled spectacular sunset; the sun and horizon meet in a magnificent display of colours reflecting over the perfectly tranquil waters of the Aegean coast before gently disappearing, only to rise over the adjacent mountainside at dawn.
The region surrounding Didyma is famous for its fig trees, olive gardens and medicinal flowers from which the infamous South western olive oil based dishes and regions' unique fruit preserves and delicacies derive.
Didyma is a naturally accessible region both from the nearby ancient sites, from the sea and other cities in the region. Nearby Altinkum's residents and visitors are easily able to reach Didyma's town centre where they can enjoy an alternative Southern evening in one of Didyma's live music bars or dine in one of the continental restaurants offering cuisines from all corners of the world
The complex is
within easy reach of a private beach and the centre of the charming town of Bozbuk where restaurants, cafés and shops can be found. The next larger town is Didim, in a distance of only 15 minutes. The airports of Izmir and Bodrum are both easy to access, which is perfect for those travelling from and to the UK regularly.
